A
product of a first generation American family Al Inglima's
ideas and principals, along with an emphasis in a strong work
ethic, were encouraged by his family.
His parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles were each
successfully involved in various self-employed endeavors.
There were butchers, bakers, contractors, fashion
designers, pattern makers, dry cleaners, grocers, jewelers,
carpenters and even a candlestick maker.
Recognizing the concept of seeing a need and fulfilling it
Al's entire career, both as an independent businessman and in
Corporate America, was based on this concept.
That concept and his unyielding dedication to integrity and
customer service provided Al a successful career in a
Fortune 100 company. As the Director of Marketing Al was
personally responsible for sales of about 3/4 of a BILLION
DOLLARS ($750,000,000.00), in approximately an 8˝ year period.
With
the ability to depart from corporate life, Al began to
prepare for this new career as an auctioneer. Evenings,
weekends and vacation time were utilized to attend Auction
school, become certified as a Personal Property Appraiser and
to complete the educational requirements necessary for an
Oklahoma Real Estate Brokers License. Using his
business, sales and marketing experience, coupled with his
training as an Auctioneer and Appraiser, Al has fully prepared
himself to serve your needs with a commitment and
professionalism that few others can match.
"I
have always been attracted to the auction business, having
attended my first auction with my grandparents in 1947 or
1948. My Mothers
parents lived in the city, but had several farms in the
country and as children my brother and I spent a portion of
each summer on the farms.
It was a great way to grow up and it was always so much
fun to go to the various markets when my grandfather would
take livestock to sell at auction.
We might spend the entire day at the auction and be
sound asleep when returning home late at night.
One of my personal
treasures of that time is a sales bill advertising the auction
of the personal property at one of my grandparent’s farms".
The
“Auction Method of
Marketing”, has always provided one of the most direct
ways to achieve a complete and effective disposition of real
estate and personal property in short order, for cash, while
obtaining the fair market value for the seller.
When
you begin the process of selecting an auction company, please
remember that bid calling represents a small portion of what
to look for in a professional auction marketing company.
You will be hiring someone that you trust to be
responsible for merchandising your possessions.
That person and or company will be a reflection upon
you to the community.
Most people have spent years accumulating their assets
and reputation.
Making the effort to seek out a competent and qualified
auction firm is in your best interest. Remember, at
Inglima's our goal is to bring you the most in service, value
and dollars.
